Learning Links (Southern) Ltd is a Registered Charity operating in the South East, with a focus on Hampshire and Isle of Wight. Our Furnish community furniture project involves the collection, upcycling and reselling of domestic furniture at affordable prices from our warehouse and retail outlet. The scheme is funded by the Big Lottery and supports individuals in the cycle of homelessness by providing work placement opportunities throughout our operation to assist them into employment.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager with experience of a target driven environment to lead our busy Furnish team. The ideal candidate would be an experienced warehouse or logistics manager, preferably with experience in the recycling industry and/or welfare to work sector.
- To effectively oversee, plan and direct the operations of Learning Links’ Furnish contract including the management of the warehouse and retail outlet.
- Overall responsibility for delivering performance and achieving the client focused contractual targets and sustainable targets.
- To focus on establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business and sales for the projects future self-sustainability.
- Responsibility for driving the volunteer work placement programme by supporting those on the scheme to achieve their aspirational goals.
Special requirements: The post holder must have a full UK drivers licence and may be required to work some unsocial hours in accordance with the needs of the post and/or the organisation.
37.5 hours per week £27,370 – £32,440 per annum, from May 2017 – 31 July 2019
